Kathmandu, Nepal — Renata Kattel, Salina Niraula, Srijana Bhatt, Bandana Shrestha and Deepa Sitaula have been crowned ‘Bridal Queen 2026’ under the third edition of Bridal Couture Runway 2026.
The five winners were honored during a special ceremony held on Bhadra 6 (August 22) at Heritage Palace in Radhe-Radhe, Bhaktapur. The event brought together Nepal’s traditional cultural heritage, bridal fashion and contemporary design on a single platform.
Chairperson of the Janamat Party, Dr. CK Raut, attended the event as the chief guest.
Culture and Contemporary Fashion Take Center Stage
The event placed strong emphasis on Nepal’s language, culture, traditional values, originality and national identity. The program began with a Ganga Aarti, creating a spiritual and culturally significant atmosphere before the fashion presentations got underway.
The combination of traditional rituals, Nepali cultural elements and modern bridal fashion gave the runway a distinctive character, highlighting the possibilities of blending Nepal’s rich heritage with contemporary fashion.
Promoting Nepali Identity Through Fashion
The event was organized by *Shah Studio & Company. Managing Director Monu Shah said the program was designed to showcase the connection between Nepal’s original cultural identity and modern fashion.
According to the organizers, Bridal Couture Runway 2026 – Edition 3 aimed to provide a platform for talent while promoting Nepali culture and creativity through the fashion industry.
The crowning of five winners as "Bridal Queen 2026" added a major highlight to the event, celebrating their talent, confidence and presence on the runway.
